About Our Foundation
Hope Grande Prairie is a community-led initiative dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate crisis and build lasting stability. Inspired by the 100 Families Initiative, and powered by the Restore Hope Model, the initiative brings local organizations together to provide coordinated, wraparound support using existing community resources.
At the heart of this work is HopeHub, a secure, collaborative case management web-based platform that allows service providers to work from one shared participant profile. With participant consent, care teams can communicate, coordinate services, and track progress—reducing duplicated efforts, minimizing repeated storytelling, and helping prevent re-traumatization.
Supported by Community Navigators and cross-sector collaboration, Hope Grande Prairie creates a shared picture of needs and services across the region. This approach strengthens partnerships, improves outcomes, and ensures individuals and families don’t fall through the cracks.
Together, we turn collective action into meaningful change—one connection, one family, one step forward at a time.
RE-IMAGING THE FAMILY JUSTICE SYSTEM
Hope Grande Prairie grew out of the RFJS pilot project, which brought local organizations together to address gaps in domestic abuse response. Through community mapping and cross-sector collaboration, the need for a coordinated system became clear—leading to the regional launch of HopeHub, a secure data platform adapted for Canada with funding from Women and Gender Equality Canada.

Natasha Phillips
Hope Grande Prairie Coordinator
Natasha is the Community Development Coordinator and serves as the Hope Grande Prairie Coordinator. With over three years at Odyssey House—the backbone agency for Hope Grande Prairie—she has seen firsthand the critical need for coordinated, wraparound care. Her background as a Developmental Service Worker, supporting individuals with complex needs, along with her perspective as a mother, deeply informs her approach to this work and her commitment to meeting people where they’re at. In this role, she acts as a key point of contact for organizations supporting individuals and families who benefit most from coordinated services. Through ongoing training and close collaboration with the Restore Hope team, Natasha has developed extensive knowledge of the Hope Grande Prairie system and serves as the primary resource for questions related to the initiative.

Laura Santone
Prevention Manager & Community Navigator
Laura has dedicatedly served individuals in shelters for over 15 years. As the Prevention Manager, she brings extensive knowledge and experience that directly support a deep understanding of community needs—particularly those of individuals and families requiring the most assistance. Laura provides direct supervision and support to Hope Grande Prairie and is trained to assist with assessments for individuals seeking to enter HopeHub. Her compassion, dedication, and commitment to supporting those most in need make her a valuable asset to the initiative.
Madi Crispin
Director Of Education & Engagement
Madi is the Director overseeing this project at Hope Grande Prairie. A proud mother, wife, and daughter, she was born and raised in Grande Prairie and has spent the past 8 years with Odyssey House, growing from a Public Education Support Worker to her current role as Director of Education and Engagement. With a bachelor’s degree in Education, Madi spent several years teaching before transitioning into the domestic violence sector. While she does not provide direct case management, Madi serves as a key knowledge base for the team—supporting education, strategy, and system navigation. She is deeply passionate about advancing education, engaging men and boys in the work to end violence against women, and creating meaningful impact in her community.

Hope Grande Prairie is proudly supported by Odyssey House, a local non-profit organization that has been serving the community since 1979. Originally established to provide safe shelter for women and children experiencing domestic violence, Odyssey House has grown to offer crisis support, housing, outreach programs, and community education. Today, they provide the backbone for Hope Grande Prairie—supporting coordination, collaboration, and wraparound services to ensure individuals and families can access the help they need, when they need it.
